- 6:00 PM Potluck dinner, 7:00 PM Presentation followed by Q & A
Sponsored by Interfaith Forum Greenville and the Greenville Baha’i Community
Join us for a fascinating presentation about a unique program – Church St. Place at Poe Mill Project – an alliance of diverse individuals, religious groups, and civic organizations whose goal is to combat chronic homelessness in Greenville. Learn about the humanitarian as well as economic success of its parent project, Reedy Place (est. in Greenville in 2006), and discover why this unique refuge for the homeless mentally ill is leading the way as a model of best-practice. And, most importantly, learn what actions you can take, large and small, to get our most vulnerable citizens off the streets and into permanent supportive housing. Presenters: Jim Carroll and Bill Kaiser (Directors of the Church Street Place at Poe Mill Project)
Bring a dish and join us for the potluck dinner at 6:00 PM and stay for the program, or just come at 7:00 for the program!
